Function Syntax

string str:encode-uri(string, string, string?)

The str:encode-uri function returns an encoded URI. The str:encode-uri method does not encode the following characters: lower case letters a-z, upper case letters A-Z, digits 0-9, and "-" | "_" | "." | "!" | "~" | "*" | "'" | "(" | ")".


There are currently no XSLT processors that we know of that support the latest version of str:encode-uri natively.
